The pre-order model is different to buying off a shelf. Here is every step, in order, so there are no surprises between clicking "pre-order" and getting your tool on site.
A drop is announced
We publish a new drop listing with: the tool, what it does, who it suits, the estimated batch ship date, and the pre-order price. Nothing vague — you know exactly what you are committing to.
Drops are announced to the mailing list first, then go public. Getting on the list means you get first pick before spots fill.
You pre-order and pay (or split the payment)
Confirm your pre-order and pay at checkout. You can use Afterpay or Zip to split the cost across instalments, or pay in full by card. Trade account holders can arrange invoice payment — contact us to set that up before checkout.
Your payment secures your unit in the batch. If a drop closes before you order, we will let you know and offer a spot on the next run.
The batch closes and we place the order
Once the pre-order window closes, we consolidate all units into one order with the maker. That means the per-unit cost — and therefore your price — reflects a real bulk buy, not a single-unit import with a retail margin bolted on.
Batch sizes vary by tool. Some drops fill in days; others run for a few weeks. The listing shows expected batch close dates.
Freight to Australia — we handle customs
The consolidated shipment clears customs in Australia. We manage the logistics, GST handling, and Australian compliance requirements. You get none of the paperwork and none of the customs-broker hassle you would face importing yourself.
We send a batch status update when freight lands in Australia so you know roughly when to expect your delivery.
Despatched direct to you
Once the batch clears, your tool ships directly to your door — or your depot if that works better. We send tracking information as soon as it is available.
